Over the past 13 years I have heard countless friends say that "martial arts saved them". I have always known that the path to learning to fight is the path to empowerment and enlightenment. When a psychologist suggested to me that I could help women with PTSD by teaching them kickboxing I discovered a pile of research proving that my childhood intuition was correct.
By learning to fight, we learn to be fully present in our bodies and our lives.
Drawing upon this research, my experience and collaborating with psychologists, I developed The Fight Back Project.
